I've never even HEARD of that breed! He could have some of that in him though, but he was definitely bigger than 22-26". He is taller than Snickers, and she is almost 30". He probably has 10 different breeds in him but his coloring is more like an Aussie only his hair isn't as long as most of the pics I've seen of them.

I guess it will always be a mystery.

LOL. Well, tell Tyler he can court her all he wants, but after these puppies are weaned that is it!

Well, I think our little girl now has a name. Skuttle. (don't ask). Well, DH's nickname for her is Skuttlebutt (which doesn't make sense..isn't that another word for gossip?) But, it's stuck so now she's Skuttle.
.

Actually, I guess it's kind of cute....

They are such beautiful puppies!!! Be sure you have them spayed/neuterd and get them their first set of shots (they'll need boosters too) before sending them out to their new forever homes! They are soo lovely!

How young are they spaying/neutering pups now? Its not like cats. Many do not recommend early spaying/neutering before 6-9 months depending on the breed.

Just curious. Keno was 14 months when we got her (had a litter at 11 months old), so she was not spayed till almost 20 months old cause she came into heat before we got her scheduled and had to wait.

If they are in good condition- which it looks like these pups are- they can be done at 5-6 weeks
6-9 months is WAY too long to wait to have them fixed- they can get pregnant and have a litter by then. Many vets are spaying/neutering younger nowdays as they recognize it is better. Kittens should be done (if they're in good health) at 2-3lbs. Puppies about 5-6 weeks is a good rule of thumb
They also seem to recover better when they have the surgeries at a younger age.

Reason I ask cause I'm also on a Labrador Message Board and most of the lab owners/breeders will not spay/neuter till a minimum of 4-5 months old because the labs are a larger breed dog and it can cause some growth/bone problems in the breed if neutered too young.

I think that's a load of poo, though. I mean....studies show that altering later in life increases the risk of cancers....not to mention the risks of "whoops" litters. I honestly do not think it affects them at all, other than keeping them healthier!! My Coco was done a little after 6 months & she still has health problems that "only happen to dogs pediatrically altered" according to the vets at a big office up by the Twin Cities.

Those spotted puppies really tug at my heart. They are all adorable. How fun they must be to see grow.
