Wow the airlines really got me...

So I'm taking a trip to NJ in 2 weeks to interview for a job out there and most importantly visit a friend that I haven't seen for 6 months.

Well in the midst of the excitement of the interview and having a poopy week at work, I totally forgot about tickets that B and I have to the Tigers v. The Yankees that Saturday...the day I return. I accidently placed the ticket order, completely forgetting about the game, for the latest possible flight out of NJ. The game starts at 7:00 pm and my plane was scheduled to land at 8:30pm.

I called up to change the flights, and now an additional $250 is out of my pocket. .

I hope the job pays well...very well...

yep, the get you big for those like that. When the wife had to go back to indo on short notice business class tickets where almost 3000 dollars.
no wonder we cant save money.

PS, move near cleveland you can hang out with us cool ohio people hehe

So sorry you had to pay so much to change the flight but atleast you'll still get to go to the game with B!!

Eeek! I might have just sold my ticket! But then I'm not a sports fan so it wouldn't be much of a loss to me.

Yea I wouldn't have cared too much about going to the game, however I told him a month ago that I would go and he bought 4 tickets and 2 people bailed on us already. I couldn't do that to him, especially since none of his friends can go that day.

Way to be a great girlfriend!! Atleast you can be counted on to do the right thing! I bet he appreciates that!
