Took the top off the cage to do my daily checks, and this is what I saw:

One week old today, and all have doubled in weight. =)

look at those beautiful, healthy babies! I can't wait to see what Momma does when they start exploring... I bet you get a photo of 6 little kitties all in a row following her like a Momma duck and ducklings.

GK45, great idea about the puzzle!

Very cute... and they just seem to grow so fast.

Love kittens and all the cute things they do!

My heart just melted!
Noticed one did have it's head the other way.

I don't know. Have seen Mom looking as kittens headed in different directions.

Thanks everyone! These little fluffballs have certainly kept me mushy with their supreme cuteness.

You know, I actually thought they looked something like an MC Escher puzzle when I saw them.

I know there are companies where you can send them a photo and they will create a puzzle for you. I'd look into it

If I did a puzzle for the picture in my siggy below (in the leopard bed) that would be ONE very hard puzzle to complete!

Oh, I thought you meant they themselves were puzzle-like! I really love jigsaws, too, I will look into it! Charlie in his bed would be difficult, but a good challenge as well.

I also just noticed? The kittens are separated, the four girls are on the left and the two boys are on the right. AND, they go from smallest to largest... The bi-color up top and the orange legged tortie are the two smallest. Weird.

Mostly, I've just been calling them #1-6, as they don't really have a lot of personality yet. Although, I've been calling the little bi-color girl (#3) Zap because you can't see it in the photo but the white stripe on her face doesn't go up and down between her eyes like I've seen on most cats? Instead it goes diagonally through her right eye, like a little bolt of lightning. =)
