Hi everyone,

My name is Marci and I currently have 3 cats. The cats were all rescues and I just love them! I have two males and one female. They get along well with just the occasional squabble. I don't a day goes by when they don't make me laugh out loud! I just adore them.

I can see that this is the place to be to learn about cats. I've read so much my head hurts!

Thank you all for the very nice welcome! I've mostly been reading, but I can see that I can ask just about anything about cats and find the answer here.

Here's a bit about my cats:

My oldest cat is a big (about 20 lbs) red cat. He is the king of the house. Even intimidates my 100 lb. yellow lab. However, he really is more a lover than a fighter. Somehow he commands respect with very little aggressive behavior.

My middle cat is a tabby - also big (about 17 lbs) and also male. He, too is wonderfully affectionate and also happens to love to watch tv. Especially Meercat Manor on the Animal Planet.

My baby is a turtoise shell little girl. She is a sweetie, but has quite a mischievous side. The way I got her is a long story, but she was about 2 weeks when I got her. She was bottle fed and had to be encouraged to go potty. (Those of you who have nursed little tiny kittens know what I mean. A topic for a new thread. hehe) She is quite skiddish of loud noises, has a blankie (a favorite blanket) and barks at bugs. I just love her!
