OK get ready to cry, I was away at a Leadership Summit for my business that weekend. My Mom had flown in from NY to watch the kids and take care of the animals. Anyway, Early morning on the 8th I arrived home and thought it odd that I didn't see my 20 lb cat TeeKee, but I was so exhausted I just went to bed. The next morning I was informed my son had accidently left the garage door open to the back yard when he let the dogs in and TeeKee was missing. He had escaped before and I really didn't think much of it until it got to be about 10 AM. I had already been out calling for him and driving around calling his name but by this time I KNEW something was wrong as he would always come when I called him every other time he escaped. To make a long story short, I was in my back yard yet again calling him when I noticed my neighbor's dogs kept looking at something as I called his name. So I sent my son the 2 doors up and told him "You better hope that splash of white I see in Monica's back yard is not my cat" he came back crying saying yes it was him and he was dead and the dogs bit him as he tried to get in, I went and got him and yes he was dead I was lost, and devastated. Thought I would never get over it. Had my son help my hubby bury him. It was awful but here I am today still living, but I think of him often. It took me weeks to get over his tragic death and I cry sometimes still. I have a big picture of him on my wall behind my computer here so I see him everyday. He was my love, my sweet boy, I'd had him and his brother Tomas for 6 years. Tomas searched for him for over a week. It was just so sad. But I love him and I always will and I swear I still see him sometimes. But he's at the bridge now, waiting for me to come. I miss him so much. Thanks for reading and thanks for listening.
