Okay, I hope this isn't too TMI:

One of my kitties is having a problem with... for lack of a better term, anal leakage. She leaves little loose and liquidy blurps and splotches outside of the litterbox area.
If she curls up and sleeps on my bed, I will sometimes find... ermmmm... skidmarks.

What could be causing this? I have cleaned out the litterbox and maintain it daily; today I bought a larger sandbox (I have two kitties). I am also wondering if maybe the food I am giving them could be aggravating this problem.

She is seven years old, and otherwise seems healthy.

Thoughts?

I'm sure others will chime in soon. Some preliminary questions...how old is your baby? What is she eating? Any recent changes in diet? Has she seen a vet recently regarding this or any other reasons? Has she been dewormed?

I'm sure others will have questions as well..but we can start them with these.

Sounds like the anal gland sacs need to be expressed. I'd make a vet appointment - they can teach you how to do it yourself. It's gross, but better than finding those splotches everywhere.

Seven year old Abyssinian, and has a sister.

Eats a can a day of wet food as well as dry food, but have no idea what she is eating vs. her sister.

We haven't taken her to the vet, but we did take a stool sample in which came back negative for worms.
