Okay, if we're talking floats, let's get serious. Has anyone else noticed:
If your ice cream is very, very
cold... and your rootbeer is also very, very
cold... and you place the former in the glass first and then pour the latter over it... sometimes a very thin shell of rootbeer will actually freeze
around the ice cream.
There's not much of that delicate icy shell, and it doesn't last long -- ah, but it's easily the best part of a float!
