Hello everyone!
I am back at work and therefore back on TCS.
Everything went really well with my surgery. I still have some pain and have to watch what I lift, but I feel suprisingly good. Especially since my constant gall stone pain is gone.
My kids were the best and worst part of my being off. Worst because they kept knocking into my incisions areas. Best because they kept wanting to kiss momma's booboos better. Derek is just learning how to talk and his fav thing for the last 2 weeks was to say booboo and come up to me and pull up my shirt to kiss the booboos better.
The cats were thrilled I was home. 3 out of 4 got some serious snuggle time. It was amazing - they knew I was in pain and made sure that they didn't step on the sore areas. You should have seen the looks they gave me this morning when I left for work - they were crushed - I felt bad!
I got a few things accomplished while I was off. I have been meaning to make a new wreath for my front door, but with kids and cats it is difficult to get out the hot glue gun. I made myself a new summer wreath with purple, yellow, pink and a touch of red. It is gorgeous. I will try to post a picture (have to take one 1st). Did some end of season clothes shopping. Bought some new undies - trying the boy cuts - not too sure I like them. I don't think my bottom is the right shape for them.
My mom came to town last week and she and I had a girl's afternoon and went to see the movie Hairspray. It was as excellent as the musical was. We both loved it so much we went right from the theatre and bought the CD. I am listening to it right now at work.
So what have I missed here. I know I am not going to be able to catch up with all of the threads (I am going to have to do some work). Did I miss anything important?
