My name is X and I am the new owner of Bella, a 5 yr old grey tabby American Shorthair. She's been with us for just over a month now and is getting settled in well, but she sure is a scaredy cat. She'll jump at the slightest sound. She's not our first cat. I've shared my space with at least one cat through most of my life, so I'm no stranger to the ways of the cat and have made it a bit of a passion to understand them as best I can through attentive experience and study. My last cat, Twiggy succumbed to cancer in April of 2005 and I'm glad to have a feline friend back in my life.
I'll mostly be looking for some information and advice on natural diets. It's something that I started doing for Twiggy before she got a bladder infection (actually from some dry food while I was out of town) but I was never confident enough in PH levels to return her to the home made food. The internet has become a wonderful source for sharing information and I am much more confident in achieving a strong diet for Bella's optimal health and happiness.
