Yep Stampy is postal, One day the mailman showed up with mail in one hand and the cutest little puppy in the other. He'd found him wondering in the middle of the road (we think a whole litter was dumped) I asked to hold him and never gave him back. Suddenly I had "my" first dog.

Stamp! **dies** what a gorgeous little man! Ohhh I remember the way I fell in love with my `first' dog. She wasn't the first dog I ever had, but she was the first one that I fell utterly and profoundly in love with and she became my heart dog. You can see her in my sig - Ruby girl.

I love Stamp's story - and his name!

Freda is by far my most dog tolerant cat, she's also the youngest. She went into heat soon after we got Stamp (Monday morning she and Harold went to the vet) Once when Harold wasn't around to take care of things she started rubbing on Stamp. He was about the same size then, so he chewed on her, he didn't understand why she didn't like that anymore on Tuesday. That was a hard habit to break. When he was a puppy he spent a lot of time cuddling with Freda, and occasionally chewing on her

They all have lots of stories, but they will have to wait, I have to go to work.

They don't cuddle any more, but Freda did teach Stamp to hunt and irritates Elvis by rubbing on his chest, he doesn't like it but doesn't know how to stop her either, barking has no effect on her and she won't run.

Aww thier all so adorable. Stamp's story is touching, that's so sad that he was just dumped in the street. Who could do that to such an adorable little pup? It looks like he found a wonderful home with you though. He's a lucky dog.

Yeh, he's lucky that was a cold night. Stampy is now a spoiled brat.

Unfortunately more animals than I can take in just show up here. Noodle the brown dog on the table sniffing Freda showed up scared, starving and full of hook worms after 2 1/2 months and a lot of $ we did find her a nice home with a very patient owner.

Big Dog, was a 94 lb yellow lab that stayed with us for a month, we never did find out how he was getting in and out of our yard.

Our most recent strays have been cats, one should be living at the neighbor's house but won't stay, he showed up here after being missing for 2-3 months. When we take him home he's back in our driveway by the next morning. A week after he showed up, we found a kitten, she has a lot of feral left in her, hopefully our neighbors are making some progress with her.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
