shes having her kittens

ok shadow just had her first kitten but the placenta is still inside and she hasnt cut the cord yet and wont let me touch her there what can i do or will she have the placenta soon

I`d just give her a little time and see what happens as long as she does`nt seem to be in distress ,other than being in labor.
Is she licking the kitten and otherwise acting motherly?
If so, maybe give her some quiet, alone time, and just keep checking on her.(unless, of course she acts like she wants your company and won`t stay with the kitten she`s already had if you go away)
There may possibly be another (identical twin) attatched to the same placenta, so I would`nt "cut the cord" for her at this point.

if she hasnt already then please cut that cord some mums just dont cut the cords so you will have to, tie it off about 1 1/2 inchs away from thek ittens tummy then cut the cord the other die to stop any bleeding. this was a few hours ago so i hope everything is fine now.

ok ingore my post i have just read your other post, im glad things seem to be going well.

yes she is fine now she has had #3 and has ate all 3 placentas I watched and made sure. that sure is icky,shes not done thoI think the last 2 were breech but she seems fine and so do the kittens.
