When a kitten sends gifts to another member, does it still go through? How do you private message back?

Can kittens send gifts?

I can't see any reason why a kitten can't send gifts, as long as they have enough points.
If they are under 18 they won't be able to send a PM back, but kittens are allowed to send PMs so just reply to the PM it sends to say you got a gift

Then did they get a PM notifying them I sent a gift, and they just can't reply?
Yes, when a minor sends a gift, the recipient can read the message, but can't reply.
