hi!

i have a cat who is about two and a 12 week old kitten.they are sisters.they have always been really close and the cat always groomet and snuggled upto the kitten.we took them away for a week to our caravan and they were the same there.now we have come home and the cat is beeing horrible to the kitten and growls and goes for her if she goes near her,i put them near eachother last night when they were asleep and the cat woke up and started licking the kitten.got up today and she is being horrible again.do you think she will go back to normal.why do you think this is.is it my fault cos i am pregnant and she may be able to sense i and feel pushed away or something?i give them both the same amount of attention and cuddles.really worried.thanks.

Hey Ali, Welcome to TCS!
I'm glad you stopped in!

You know there very well could be a few different reasons why she's acting this way now. The thing that first popped into my head was that you had taken them out of the house for a week. That may have confused the cats, and they may not feel as comfortable as before. This is just my guess. I would suggest trying to get them calm, comfortable, and give them extra TLC
for a little while until things get settled again. You could try some Feliway in the house... Vibes that things return to normal.

Hope that helps!
