My 11 year old eats canned only: I rotate the following brands Innova, EVO, Nature's Variety, Natural Balance, California Natural, Felidae, 2 flavors of Wellness, Avoderm, and 1 flavor of Merrick. There are usually a few stacks of 3 or 4 of the above brands in the cupboard at any given time. I don't switch between all of those above brands every day! He loves the variety and doesn't have any digestive issues.

My 1 year old male eats 1 Wellness pouch (he only likes slices) and NB Ultra for his dry. He absolutely loves the NB dry. He was starting to pick at his last food so I knew it was time for a change.

My 1 year old female with food allergies is getting on NB Green Pea and Duck. Wet and Dry. The prescription allergy formula she was on didn't agree with her tummy.

Sharky,

I know you've mentioned this before, but maybe you could PM a mod and see if this thread could be made a sticky? Might save a lot of threads asking the same questions!

Dry: James Wellbeloved - I did look into Orijen, but i give the fosters the same dry as mine, so financially it was an issue, especially when I have fosters that eat loads of dry, like the current ones.

Wet: My own cats get high meat content food, at the moment it is mainly HiLife or Natures Menu, until i order from Zooplus. Fosters get whatever the rescue provides (hence feeding them dry, so at least they are getting some decent food), and I try and treat them all once a week to a complimentary high meat content food, or some fresh meat. Wanted to do raw, but was wary of doing it right, and also would have caused issues with the fosters.

Callie gets Hills SD k/d dry periodically through the day. Twice a day she gets some canned Wellness (grain free), raw food, and a touch of pumpkin.

Hannah gets a very few morsels of Royal Canin 3 times a day plus the above canned routine twice a day. She's mostly a wet fed girl, but she enjoys crunchies, too. Due to her herpes, I'm weaning her off of grains.

They keep getting better and better food...

EVO dry food, and Instinct wet food alternated with Nutro naturals wet.

Also, they hate Halo Spot's Stew and Tiki cat for some reason.

I feed mecha a variety of things...she doesnt have a specific brand and sometimes will get a differant brand each fortnight.
at the moment she's having dine wet food and whiskas dry food (just stoped feeding her snappy tom wet food)...
I change her food when she gets sick of the brand and I feed her whiskas dry as except for the youll love coles dry cat food the others ALL contain the same imgrediance list (whole grain cerials being the number one list)

I feed Tessie 1/4 Wellness Core in the morning and a 3oz can of Wellness no-grain wet in the evening. She is doing great on it, alot more energy and no more throwing up
! I'm hoping she will loose some weight though.

Right now we are feeding Nutro Dry and various wets (from friskies select indoor to nutro(which they hate the nutro). But we are almost out of dry food, so I'm gradually switching to something else, not sure what yet though.

Surprise!!!
My cats eat Solid Gold - Holistique

I think it's better for them. They love it.

I have fed them Wellness before, they enjoyed it but I really think Solid works best. They are so much more active, nice coats, etc. Really good stuff.

I feed my cat, Callie, Nutro Max Cat dry food. I love it and she loves it. It makes her coat really shiny, and it makes her teeth clean... she also goes to the bathroom less, and her stool is healthy, and goes less then when she was on Iams. As a groomer, I def recommend feeding your cats premium foods. It will make a difference in the coat, skin, teeth, activity, bones, muscles, and alertness.

Wet food is actually like a "fast food" for cats. Like a McD's or a BK for us. They eat more of it, and it's stinky. (wet food is good once in a while, it does contain a lot of water that will help your cat's hydration). Otherwise, wet food is no good. This is just my opinion though... I never liked it. But from experince, no go on the wet-to.

I know Purina is not the best quality, but it's the only dry food I can afford right now since I'm trying to save up for a new apartment (we have to move at the end of the year) So I free feed that during the day, and then in the evenings my kitties get canned Wellness, grain free
I can work that much into my budget as of now, but I'm planning on switching them to a higher quality dry food to munch on during the day

I am currently feeding NutroMax Indoor Formula, but am planning to switch to Wellness Core along with some Wellness grain-free wet food.
