Anouther Foot and Mouth breakout in UK

Caused by a lab thats supposed to work at preventing the disease.

I hope this isn`t going to be as bad as the outbreak 6 years ago. There were farmers committing suicide and thousands of animals slaughtered

Is Foot and Mouth the same thing as Hoof and Mouth? My father always used to tell me, I'd get Hoof and Mouth disease because I kissed my cats in the mouth.

The last outbreak was horrendous - I'll never forget the pyres of animals. Hopefully it'll be quickly contained this time.

I never heard it called hoof and mouth before.
Did your cat have hooves?!

It's the same disease.

The disease affects cloven-hoofed animals, in particular cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and deer.
