and I have a few questions about her. How far along in pregnancy do you think she is?? based on size how many kittens do you think she will have? when should I start seeing the kittens move inside her? and finally she tends to run fast and jump alot will this hurt the kittens?
you cant really see her in the picture so it would be hard to judge, as its hard anyway lol.
a pregnant cat should always have at least 1 vet vist, they can tell you roughly how many they can feel and how far along she is (give or take a few days)
normally when the nipples start to become pink and a bit bigger this normally means they are around 3/4 weeks pregnant. you can normally see a bigger belly between 4/6 weeks depending on how many she is having IE small litter will show later big litter may show sooner. at about 6/7 weeks you may start to notice a small amount of movement like bubbles popping in her tummy which over the last 2 weeks will become very noticeable. her milk may start to come in about the last week of pregnancy sometimes not untill she has had the kittens. a few days before or leading up to the delivery you may notice a small amount of clear/brownish discharge or may even see the mucus plug which is like a thick string of mucus. from 7 weeks pregnant she should be fed a good quilty kitten food wet and dry. around the last 1/2 weeks you may want to start confineing her to a quiet room of her own with her litter pan, water and food. and also a nesting place which she may or may not use. but it will be better then her having them someone else in the house that can be dangerous.
keep her indoors only as you dont want her having them outside. and she can become pregnant just a few days after giving birth so she needs to be kept away from any intacked males untill the kittens have weened and the mother can be safely spayed.
