My black shaggy kitty. The lights are on but no one is home.

We recently bought new carpets and he is just fascinated with them, to the point of destruction. He keeps pulling out the loops and building them into a little pile. He will then get really excited and then show them to us.

I love him.

Ahhh, wonderfully clueless kitties.
I can just see one of mine doing the exact same thing.

The best is he will point them out and rub on them. He then gets all these carpet loops caught in his fur. I have to chase him down to get them out. He thinks its a great game.

I think Scratch and Wickett may be long lost brothers based soley on this...

And the chasing him around to get bits of "toy" out of his fur. But how can you not love a shaggy black kitty? Even if all his crayons aren't in the box.

You can add Smudge to the "lights are on but nobody's home" family. She can't figure out how Stumpy can jump into the crib we put up but she can't. She runs around the crib making little frustrated noises. She just doesn't get that she needs to be able to jump up there.

You can add Riley to the list.

His favorite fur mousie, with the rattly things inside, has no holes, no damage, but has stopped rattling. No idea how he managed that!

Maybe Scratch is just showing you that he's pleased with your carpet selection?
