I mean it's kind of odd that a country can go somewhere, stick a flag in some ice, and call it Russia.

What amazes is me is that they're concerned with what's THEIRS under water rather than land. Some people need a better hobby.

Wait until we need to begin living in the oceans before we have to figure this out.

Don't forget that the North Pole is NOT a static location. It shifts and changes over time.

Makes me wish I had a flag to stick in the ground somewhere. After all, I'm going to rule the earth. Muaahh-ha-ha-ha-ha.

"I claim India for Britain!"

They go, "You can't claim us, we live here! 500 million of us!"

In all honesty, I didn't know Russia had anything left that would float. If you check Google Earth around Polyarny and Murmansk, you'll see the biggest part of the former Soviet and current Russian fleets, sinking, rusting, and seething radiation.
