I have a very tall dresser in my bedroom, and had it not been covered with stuffed animals it would make a great cat perch. The boys thus far have ignored it. That is until last night. 8-Bit was making his usual noisy entrance into the bedroom, "Trill, meow, trill trill trill."

It's his basic announcement that he is in the room. I hear the lamp on my bed side table start to rattle. And then I hear it. All of my stuffed animals are falling, or rather being pushed off the edge to make way for a large gray cat. I yelled up, "8-Bit there's not enough room for you!"

All that made him do was go after the larger teddy bears.

I'm going to need to find a new space for them.

I need to start keeping my camera on my bedside table.... the best stuff happens in the middle of the night.

Oh goody 8-bit stories!!!! He's been way too quiet lately.

Isn't it funny how we all just come up with a solution to allow our cats to have their way.

No one here would think of not moving the stuffed animals to accomodate 8-Bit every wish and desire.

I had a similar dresser only instead of stuffed animals it was adorned w/ potted plants in part because that dresses top gets the best sun. Well, needless to say my plants are now all crammed together on another dresser in the same room and the original dresser can be seen in my current sig w/ two fat cats on it. Now Wickett lays there every morning while I get ready for work.

I don't have any plants. They would just be used as a pawn in some "Let's get back at Meowmy because she decided to take us to the V-E-T." issue.

I can totally see that happening in your house. Of course, I've had to move all of mine to higher ground since getting Wickett. When he was smaller he though it was fun to dig up mommy's big pots.

I manage to keep one teddy bear on my dresser and the only reason he gets to stay is because my Sassy knocks him over then sleeps on top of him. It is very cute to
