Hello all.
Before I start really exploring the forum, I thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Mary Ellen. My husband and I share our home with 3 bossy bunnies and their 10 cat slaves. (Seriously, the bunnies rule the roost.
)
The 10 cats are: Rascal, Archie, Tucker, Miss Nellie, Louise, Angel, Koko, Yum Yum, Halupki, & Noreaster (aka Nora). Some are former Humane League residents, some were strays/ferals. The youngest is 3-4 yrs and the oldest is over 16. We don't know the exact ages of the ones who came to us as adults.
Our home is ruled by 3 adorable Holland Lops: Gingivere, Emmaline, & Pipkin. There is peace between the species in our home because we and the kitties have agreed to allow the bunnies to run the place.
I've had cats in my life for well over 20 years, and I spent a number of years volunteering for our local Humane League and 2 other cat rescue organizations.
I'm really excited about being a part of this forum...it has been highly recommended. Hope to get to know many of you and your kitty companions.
