kittens gums???

i have a 3 month old kitten who has a large black mark on the lower right side of her gums,she doesn't appear to be in any pain and hasn't lost her appetite,do you know what this may be???

At her next vet check have the vet look at it ...It could just be pigment but it could be something

thanks i really hope it isn't something,i think she may be the runt of the litter so they say,because she's 3 months now and she hasn't grow since i got her at 9 weeks

What color is your kitten? Red, yellow, or tawny coated cats often develop hypopigmentation (dark spots) anywhere including on the nose or gums. This is harmless. If in doubt, have your vet check her
