We have to move!!!

Even after what we went thru, paying them $$ and all, they have foreclosed on us!!

I am so sad. I have such mixed feelings right now.

Erm wait, that doesn't sound right. How are they foreclosing on you if you're current? Usually once you're current they cancel the lis pendens and foreclosure action.

Yeah, I don't think they can foreclose on you if you've paid them...but .. well, geez, I'd definitely call and talk to an attorney or see if theres free legal advice somewhere in your area. Sometimes they have it.

GET A LAWYER!! they cant do it if your current on your payments!!!

Sure am sorry to hear that. You ARE taking your furfamily with you wherever you go, though, right? Omigosh, moving is never easy under any circumstances. We're a 9-cat family here, too...

You shouldn't have to move.. Get a lawyer,, call for free advice,, They can't foreclose on you if you pay them current.. No matter the state..

Look for lawyers now!

I would also call the realtor that sold you the house. He/She may be able to help you with some advice.


About 8 years ago the same thing happened to me and my ex husband.
We were about to be foreclosed on. We paid them what was due PLUS 2 months (Thanks Dad) and sent it certified mail.
They still tried to foreclose on us so I contacted the realtor that sold us the house.
She was able to make some phone calls and use her office's attorney and stop it......
Maybe try that?

But no, they can't foreclose if you're current either way.

Like they said if you are current they should not be able to foreclose on you. Call a lawyer and/or real estate agent and find out whats up.
