Finally we have kittens!

Janeway, the stray that showed up a few weeks ago, finally gave birth last night! She ignored the nesting ox we had made for her and had 2 of the kittens where we had never even seen her poking around - behind my computer on light grey carpet. BUT, we got her into the box with only a minor protest and took her into the room we wanted. For those of you expecting and don't know what to expect, don't expect a lot of warning signs! We knew she was close, but had NONE of the signs - no panting, no pacing, she ate last night as usual!

Anyway, she did a great job, purred the whole time and cleaned the kitties right up and lay on her side to feed them. She had 4 - two orange and 2 calico.

Aww Congratulations! That is wonderful that she went through an easy & successful birth...Those newborn kittens are the cutest little things!

Seeing those kittens makes us so excited for our Spooky to give birth. We can't wait! Hopefully our cat has signs shes ready to give birth

Awww how cute. Dad must have been a mostly white with some color if you got those calicos with a lot of white. The red boys took after mom with more color then white
