New and loving it!

So I just stumbled across this site yesterday looking for an explanation as to why my Sissy likes to chew on tape. I'm so excited that I found this site, it's been very educational to read through some of the forums and realize that my cat isn't really that strange after all! I can't wait to see what I will learn next! Thanks for creating such an awesome site!!

If it helps, my Shinya will chew ANYTHING! I think foil is her absolute favourite D I'm sure if I stuck tape on counters and stuff to stop her jumping onto things like people suggest, she'd go "Oooh tape!" and start eating it!!

Our cats are fascinated by tape...they love to chew on it and play with it. The tape sticks to their paws and they like to try to take the tape off. Who knows why they like tape...wherever there is tape, the cats will come. We let them play with it for a little while until it becomes unsafe to play with.
