Can it be cleaned from the driveway with a hose & water?

I worked in Chicago for several years and the city had tons of pigeons and I can honestly say I NEVER saw any pigeon poo anywhere on the sidewalks. I wonder..............why not?

I live in a regular suburban area and, of course, there are zillions of birds everywhere and yet, except for the occasional bird droppings on my car, I really can't tell WHERE those birds poo! I mean, I regularly feed those birdies and have yet to see any poo on my driveway or house. Are pidgeons so very different from my birdies?

My sister lives very near a lake and they have a problem with duck and goose poo on their beach. I mean, that stuff is huge and CAN be shoveled because it's the size of cat or dog poo.

Just wonderin'.
That is what i wanted to say, I cant understand how pigeon poop would be shoveled and brought acrross to your side, because firstly when you scrape it, it disolves. and can be easily washed off with water.

Maybe its another bird??

Unfortunately, I can answer these questions. Pigeon poop is different in that it is mostly mounded pellets, in addition to the white runny stuff. but is worse than other poop as it is bigger, but better in some ways because it is easier to move, it doesn't dissolve.

I had peigeons take up nesting under an eve on my house. It was hell for two years, I tried everything to scare them, fake snakes, fake owls, moving mylar, scare eye balloon, I stopped short of poison.
The only thinkg that worked, was I got new gutters, and had the guy close off that overhang, so they couldn't get in there. They did try, but gave up, thank heavens they went elsewher.

But if this guy is letting the sit there undeterred, then he is allowing it to happen, and it is his responibility.
He can get attachments that will prevent them from sitting on his sill.

If the OP and this jerk were friends, they could have worked on getting rid of the pigeons together, but this guy sounds like a jerk, and I know how this goes, cause I have the same a=hole family attached to my driveway.
I have a security camera, and had years of lawsuits and police calls.

Which reminds me, another effective way to sjut this jjerk up is write to his lawyer everytime he does something. I think then his lawyer charges him, if he has to call him about it. I did this every time mine would stand on her deck grinning, or making faces at me, said anything to me, No matter what she did, I wrote to her lawyer. She has finally learned to behave herself. So I know that works.

My neighbor knows there are 5 pigeons living on his window ledge. So, instead of detering them from living there (and every possible method of getting rid of them is posted on the internet), he just lets them be. He now has tons (i'm talking a 1 foot pile high) of poop on his driveway, as well as all the feces that is now on the side of his house (which I can see from my home).

As for why you didn't see any poop in Chicago -- that's easy.... they clean it up promptly!

Yes, pigeons are very different than birds in terms of where they live, how they live and the amt of poop they produce.

I should have mentioned to you all much earlier in the post that it's not just the pigeons that my neighbor is allowing to live at his house. He also has a family of racoons living inside the roof of his front porch. Either this guy is mental, or he really does want to get rabies!

Some people's kids....

I'm almost thinking you should call social services on this guy. If he has children that he allows to play with bird poop and has a family of raccoons living on his front porch, that is DEFINITELY not a situation that good for the benefit of his children. I take it that you live in a suburb or someplace close to a city?

Who knows what else he is exposing his children too INSIDE the house.

Isn't it nice when the good guys win!? So today I get a call from the Municipal Licensing and Standards department. Apparently the Inspector called them to complain that my neighbor is not keeping his property in a clean state. So, new Inspector has a few words with goofy neighbor and when neighbor mouthed off to this guy, he also gave him a fine.

Didn't he learn that last time? I mean, you'd think a $1500 fine for mouthing off last time would deter him from repeating the same mistake. The way he's going about it, he must wipe his tush with money to afford to continue this route.

That's the funny thing. One of the times I sued him, he had to disclose his financials and there weren't any!!! In fact, I have a lien against his house cuz he couldn't even afford legal aid. This guy is broke, so you'd think he'd learn that flapping his lips = money he can't afford.

Unless he plans to just not pay, and make them physically come after him for the money. What a wacko.

If he doesn't pay, the city will put a lien against his house through his taxes. Stupid man doesn't realize that if he tries to sell his house or refinance, the liens will be disclosed and they will automatically get paid first.

He's probably so broke that he's at the state of not caring anymore from the sounds of it.
