Cat and Exterminator

Had the exterminator in today for silverfish and spiders- I brought my 2 kitties over to a friends house. My question is how long should I wait before I go and bring them home? Anything special I should do before they come home? I put off getting my house sprayed for 2 years because of them but finally had to bite the bullet and have it done as they were having too much fun chasing those darn critters.

Call the exterminator and ask. A lot of newer sprays are supposed to be safer - though if it kills insects it's still debatable what 'safer' could mean.

I would think a couple of days, to air out for both you and the cats, and a thorough clean up of anything that the spray residue could be on that could come in contact with your cats would be enough.
