I just got home Saturday from being in Maryland for a month. While I was there, I got a call from my mom one evening telling me that my grandparents ended up putting their 15 year old Yorkie named Skee to sleep. He wasn't doing very good for a while before I left, but then he started getting better. He ended up sitting in the corner under the computer desk and wouldn't come out to eat or anything. He could barely move on his own, and he kept going to the bathroom in the house. They took him to be put to sleep on July 17th, and buried him in a pet cemetery. I hadn't seen him for a while before I left, so I felt really bad when I heard. They've had him since I was about 3, so it's really weird saying that he's gone. I miss Skee.

Rest in peace, Skee..

Condolences to your entire family on the loss of Skee. Your grandparents must be feeling so forlorn - thank goodness that they have a wonderful grandchild such as yourself to be a comfort during these sad days. Godspeed over RB, little Skee - what a cutie you are! And Skee, when you get there, locate a BIG white German Shep/Husky dog named Tasha - you two can be the guardians of our TCS cats who are over there!

What a sweet looking dog. I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how difficult it is to lose an animal you grew up around. I'm glad he lived a long life with loving owners!
