VB 3.5 Default Grey. This isn't simply a TCS problem. For the past five weeks, I've been unable to access a site I've been a member of for five years, no matter what browser I use. The site has sent me numerous new passwords, and has finally given up, and suggested that I reregister as a new member.

And way over mine, but I suspect a browser, rather than a site, problem.
As I muddle my way through! Actually, I've had fewer problems with TCS than with other sites, although TCS probably gobbles up 80% of my online time.

Ditto...I am using the June one.

I don't think it is the skin though cause I had issues without logging in.

I noticed that I have the issue when I open the smilies page and then choose a smilie. Then when I try and post sometimes I get a page cannot be displayed. Strange.

Pages are loading and displaying MUCH faster today. Interestingly -- coincidentally or not?? -- the advertising banner at the top of the page is missing. Something to do with the server switch? Anyway, maybe the advertising does have something to do with the slowness after all?

I deleted IE7 & re-installed it today.
I also changed my spy/anti-virus software.
Fun

I will update here if that helps the loading speed.

The ads are back and it's still loading quite fast for me, and in the middle of prime time, too. So maybe it's fixed!!

It's still the same for me. The last two nights, I have not been able to get off of the home page. Whether I clicked on a link from "latest on our forums" or tried to go into "cat forums", I got nowhere.

What have you tried to do to rectify the matter? Have you logged out, gone to another site for several minutes, and then logged back in? Deleted your personal data, meaning history, cookies, cache? Deleted your bookmark, and then accessed the site by typing in the address, or by using Google? Tried another browser?

What happens if you go directly to the forums, rather than via the home page?

that it helps. You can also download other browsers. I've got four (IE7, AOL, Firefox, and Opera) on this computer, and switch between them without any trouble, though I rarely use the first two.

telephones aren't so easy any more.

I don't have a clue how to text message and don't intend to learn.

TCS is running great for me today.
Thanks

How do you delete personal info? I do delete cookies fairly regularly, but not as often as I ought and I don't delete anything else.

I've been finding it very slow for some time now, both at home and work. I've recently changed my isp at home and there's no change in speed. It usually takes about 20 seconds to load a page but it's often longer (took just over a minute to load this reply box).

Check under "Tools". There should be something like "Clear cache" or "Clear Private Data". Otherwise, try "Help" for info.
