http://www.frommfamilyfoods.com/ingr...rcat.asp?ID=35... This is a link to the product line.

The reason I ask is because the kitten I adopted yesterday has been fed Fromm products for quite some time. My other two cats are on EVO and I thought about converting the kitten to EVO as well (sadly the previous owner had no Fromm to spare and by the time I actually got the kitten last night, pet stores were closed... So I had to give him a little EVO, till I can get to the store to pick up what he normally eats... I know that is a equation for disaster but he was starving)... So any feedback would be great... I think he was fed this formula:

Either way it is probably best that I get him some till he can adjust to EVO 9he already had gas before I even gave him any EVO to try, I want to avoid any digestive discomfort that I can)...

We tried Fromm Shredded during the recalls. People who feed it as a main food on other boards have commented that it's hard to get because of demand right now. I thought the canned ingredients were great, however my cats didn't like it.
I think it was because they use tomato in their sauce, and my cats don't really like tomato.

I looked on their site to find distributors of the product... There are quite a few, Ill have to look around to see if I can came across the formula he was on previously. The guy who gave him to me makes a trip to see his parents a couple times a year (about an hour away) so he stocks up whenever he goes to visit... So Ill have to do some searching in my area to find it...

If I cant find it what should I use that will be gentle on the tummy in the mean time??? See this is my dilema, I have never run into Fromm products... There are distributors around but Im not sure which formulas they carry. I guess I could call and ask. If there isnt that formula available locally what should I consider. I remember it took my other two kitties awhile to adjust to EVO!

Well I made the little man an appointment for tomorrow at 5:30 pm to get started on his distemper, rabies, stool testing, and exam (part of his neuter package) so I will find out for sure what the deal is... In the meantime I think I will pick up some of that Fromm if I can find it tonight!

I am feeding Fromms Duck a la Veg to my Damita, Twitch, & Lily. They love it. The dogs do, too.....every chance they get they clean up after the cats....even though they aren't supposed to!

The canned....it is very evident that tomato paste is used. There is a lot of "gravy" in the cans, though....which my Twitch loves.

I found a distributor not too far from me... I will get some tonight. The Duck a la veg is the formula Osiris has been on and he likes it, he seemed to like the evo I gave him too... I have a feeling he isnt very picky, but I dont want to just switch is diet at the snap of a finger on him... I learned the hard way doing that once!

I just recieved some free samples in the mail, and neither one of mine was crazy about the canned food.

Neither of the kitties here would touch the dry.. but then neither eats much dry in the first place. Chase adored the tuna cans until he had his first UTI (he still won't even touch either of the foods he was mainly eating at the time), only licked the gravy on the beef. Our pet store hasn't been able to get in any chicken yet for him to try.
