I hadn't been planning on doing anything special for Sunday Dinner however my brother stopped by earlier with some fresh produce from his garden and now I feel inclined to cook some of it.

So the winner is:
Roast Beef
Fresh Pink Potato's
Green Beans, Baby Carrots and pearl Onions
Gravy
and for dessert
Raspberries

It is going to be a feast, and of coarse the kitties will get a piece of roast beef, and for Linus a cooked carrot because he doesn't realize cats aren't suppose to like vegetables.

Sounds excellent, so what time should I come over?

I think we are going out to eat tonight.

I hadn't thought of anything for lunch yet, it is just me.

Might go to Wendy's and get some chili.

Mmmm...souonds delicious. Nothing beats fresh garden veges too!

I think we'll have steak, roast red potatoes, cauliflower and I'm going to make some Yorkshire puds 'cos we haven't had those in the longest time.

I have been craving yorkshire pudding for about three weeks, DH is out of town so i haven't really been cooking, wish we had "British" resturant (sp) around here. I swear I can smell roast beef & pudding right now. I'm really thinking about making for dinner and bringing leftovers to son & future daughter in law.

I think I'll probably have a cobb salad tonight (then I'll finish it off with some Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia
). My husband is working a 12 hour shift today and won't be around for dinner, so nothing fancy.

We are grilling out Lake Michigan whitefish caught last week (and purchased as farmers market!!)
Then using my new grill saute pan and having snow peas, carrots, zucchini, green beans and portobello mushrooms tossed in a vinagrette dressing first.
I have new baby red potatoes and will cook some of those too.

We had roast beef made on the rotisserie on the bbq, mini potatoes, corn on the cob, salad and buns. For dessert we had blueberry coffee cake and rolo ice cream. I am still eating the dessert.

The saute pan worked pretty well on the grill however one needs a silicone glove or welding gloves as the metal handle gets pretty warm!!
The fish took like 5 minutes!! Faster than I could cook inside-I'll have to get some more fish next time I'm at the farmers market!!

I cooked a Red Baron Pepperoni with Garlic crust pizza (and managed to burn the roof of my mouth
) It was quite tasty.

I made fritattas (sp?) for the first time. Egg, cheese, salt/pepper, diced tomato/onion/beans/peas/carrot and sausage. Ended up making 9 in the muffin tray

oooo yummy
