I have another pregnant homeless cat in foster care.
Her owner took off for Denver leaving her 4 cats behind in her apartment.
This little girl was very pregnant. This was 16 days ago. I took her to the vet and the vet said she could have babies any day but no more than 2 weeks. That was 2 weeks and 2 days ago. This poor cat is beyond huge and is not acting like she is going to have the babies anytime soon. She must have a large litter.

18 days ago vet said she did not have more than 2 weeks to go.
Poor kitty cannot even lay down comfortably.

Are the babies active and moving around a lot in there? When my Lexus was that large, there was a LOT of activity in utero. Your girl is probably pretty close ... is she displaying any nesting behavior at all?

She is staying in the bathroom because she hates dogs. She has been going in the bathtub! I have a nice bed for her but she keeps going into the bathtub. No nesting behavior, she still has an appetite. I am taking my dog into the vet for a dental tomorrow, and will take her along for a little checkup if she is not exhibiting any signs of labor by morning.
I can feel them move.

Hopefully the cat goes through an easy pregnancy. Wow she is huge!

Our pregnant cat Spooky isn't very large, we believe her to only be having 2-4 kittens. Its amazing to feel them kicking. As of today (7/31), Spooky is on her 60th day. She can't get in a comfortable position either.

Good Luck with Everything!

Thank you!
I am guessing 6 kittens. 4 males and 2 females. I do not think it will be today though. She just ate like she was starving to death!

Maintaining a good appetite isn't always an indication ... my Lexus used to lean over into her bowl and nosh while she was delivering.

If you haven't already, I would suggest you read this thread to get prepared for what is to come and how to deal with it - and if you find you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask us here. Most all of us here on the TCS Preganant Cats and Kitten Care Forum have been through kitten delivery and could potentially offer a lot of assistance to you when the time comes.
