Freeway is getting old enough now for shhh; his operation. I'm going to make the call to Dr. Cathy this morning and set up his appointment.

Ohhhhh.... I won't. But what about the other kitties? Do you think they are going to share their stories with Freeway?

Awwww poor Freeway!! At least being a boy it's such an easy op - they're knocked out less than 10 minutes aren't they??

I'm sure the other kitties will tell him it's nothing, and it's just less to clean afterwards

Poor kitty, loosing his manhood before ever getting to use it
Im just teasing. My new kitty will have to go threw that in about 2 months (I get him tomorrow) and Im sure not going to tell him about it before we go... Best of luck, get it done and over with freeway, fingers crossed here for a smooth and pain-free recovery!

If you can, try to stay with him and get them to let you hold him while he wakes up from the anesthetic. I've done that with Clyde and St. John, and I'm so glad I did! They're so confused and alarmed when they come out of it -- it's got to be scary for them to wake up in a strange place with nobody they know.
