Hello! I am looking for advice/comments on a diet that I am considering for my kittens. One is male, about 4 months old, and the other is female, just shy of 3 months. Currently, they are on Wellness Kitten Blend dry food and they get a little canned food once or twice a day.

I've seen a new food out from Wellness called CORE. Basically, it is a grain-free, high protein food. Wellness uses great ingredients and I really like their food.

I have also been interested in Nature's Variety Raw Meat Diets. I bought a small bag, and they seem to like them.

I was thinking about giving the CORE in the morning, and the NV Raw at night. Is this a good idea? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks so much!

Both are VERY good IMHO ....

I would actually reverse it ... WHy ... because raw food should exit the body about 8 hours later, so you would be cleaning the box on the way to work... Plus many kitties do well with a kibble to " fill" them for the night

Just an update:

I actually decided to go with Evo, not sure why, just have a better feeling about it.

So I bought a small bag today, brought it home, and opened it up. I gave them each a few pieces, just to see if they would even eat it. They did eat it, and then...holy cats....they were crawling all over me for the next 5 minutes. Ariel even tried eating the bag!
I'm hoping this is normal...idk they always act like I starve them (of course, I don't).

I'm hoping this is a good step for them, and plan on switching them over in the next week or two.
