I just realized that I can have a custom avatar!

Does anyone know of a good site I can get a pic off of? (I don't have any pics of PHX so that's why I would need to find one off of the internet somewhere.)

OR

Does anyone have a really good idea of what I could use, and then I can find the pic myself?

ALSO

Is there any rules on avatars? Like... does it need to be copyright free, etc? Certain size? How do I change the size?

Thanks in advance,
Tiffany

I already have one picked out, (only 800 more posts to go).
If you have MS Word or Publisher, there are clip arts on there.
That's what I am going to try to use when I can, so it may be somewhere to start dabbling.

I didn't even think of that, thanks!

Also you can do google searchs for certain images. Just type in what you want to find (ex. cats) and click image search.

But, I was wondering if it's ok to use copyrighted images or not? I don't want to get into trouble over this...

We are in trouble now... Most of mine are off the sites I gave you! Ill have to check your avatar randomly so we dont share the same one

FYi sometimes the anamation of images from photobucket wont work on non-member custom avatars (I think due to their size) so its best usually to look through the AIM or any messenger icon website!

I'll make sure when changing it that I don't pick the same one as you...

I've found it to be very useful. I have resizing software, but animations can be difficult. That site gives good results, and is very easy to use.

You're quite welcome! I've gotten so much guidance from TCS members on how to deal with the Internet that I'm thrilled when I can actually add a tidbit of my own.

Nevermind, I seen on another thread that you have to reach top cat to have a custom avatar. Oh well I shouldn't have long.

You can use one of the pre-installed TCS ones until you get there
