I took it, though I never watch the NFL.

I took it too

I took it also....interesting results I must say!

me too..Even though I never watch football!!

I took it, too, although the only thing I know about football is that it bores the heck outta me.

Hopefully, the NFL will see the results of this survey and all us animal-lovers who took part will have an actual impact on things, since the numbers (currently) seem to be overwhelmingly in favour of Vick being banned, imprisoned and, if at all possible, castrated with a rusty pair of hedgeclippers. Oh, wait, that last part was just my own addition to the survey ...

I took it. We watch Packer games.

I too was surprised that so many people voted like I (we) did.

Maybe they'll realize that they need to do something about their players' behavior. Really.

The only non-voluntary response poll I could find seems to line up (though to a lesser extreme.

I'd like to know who the 3% are who said they'd buy a Vick jersey regardless of the outcome.

Probably my old downstairs neighbor who threatened to steal Zissou and use her to train his dog to fight with, after I told him he wasn't allowed in our apt because he would barge in without knocking and yell at us (piece of work, he was).

Sadly Michael Vick isn't the only person who thinks dog fighting is okay.

Wow, what a moron!

Ebayers'!! You know how everything skyrockets in price when something is going on with a celebrity, good or bad. I took the poll too and was pleasantly surprised that my votes were in the majority. I just hope the poll has an effect on the outcome.

I took it. The fact that I'm not an NFL fan doesn't mean I don't have opinions on the matter.
Interesting to see that my votes were clearly also that of the majority of people. Interesting, and gratifying, that so many are so outraged about this. And rightly so, too. The man doesn't stand a chance at trial...although, I did think that about OJ, too

You just have to look at the man. I know this is `judging a book by its cover' etc, but he just looks like a gangster

I didn't see the interview that Vick did but I seen one that Lynn Swann did of the Dolphins team that won three championships in a row years ago. He was talking about the players being given so much and being surrounded by people who depend on them for their money and tell them only what they want to hear. Apparently Vick said that he would continue playing because everyone loves him. Maybe something will finally get though to these egomaniacs.

I have been posting this poll everywhere I can, I hope all of you will do the same. Thank you everyone.

Do the results get sent somewhere, Cindy? For public broadcast or something?

I'm not sure Sarah. I just know that Sports Illustrated is HUGE.

It sure is - and I was so gratified to see how many people are obviously outraged and appalled at this - and rightly so. The man is a monster and I wouldn't want him representative of anything except an evil criminal if I had kids who watched NFL. They, more than any other, need to see that fame does not equal impunity.

There are always people out on the internet who will answer a poll like this just to make a joke. That is why the pollsters usually say + or - a certain amount when stating the results.

I have to think that a lot of the 55,000+ people who have taken this poll are actual sports fans, who just keep up with SI and not just animal activists. I hope so, honestly. A true sampling of fans would send a clearer message to the NFL and Falcons than all the emails from HSUS and PeTA (though I did send one through HSUS, just because I do get their email newsletters to keep up with legislature issues).

I was also very happy to see that the VAST majority of people who took the poll thought the same thing as we do.

Woohoo! Feels great to know that others agree So glad this is all being brought out into the open. Maybe laws will change and be enforced more often.

I wonder if this survey had anything to do with Nike changing thier minds and completely dropping him.
