Just got the Newport News fall catalog and I am in LUST:

I just got this one, in red and they now have it in deep purple:

I love this skirt:

This blouse was just delivered, last Saturday:

I'd like to get these but, I can't QUITE bring myself to pay THAT much, for a pair of jeans:

Newport News has such nice clothes, for us fuller-figured gals (I'm a size 16) who don't want to look like grandmas (even when we ARE). For the most part, their prices aren't bad, either.

*grin* I love leopard print. I don't carry it well in garments unless I am sporting bottle-blond and a tan, but I love it. Since I can't always sport blond (I am pale in the winter and tend to look washed out) I confine myself to accessories ... scarves, handbags/totes, shoes, gloves, hats, umbrellas, wallet/checkbook, organizer, sunglasses, jewelery, hair clips, socks, underwear, pajamas ... *grin*

If you can swing it money-wise, you really should treat yourself to those jeans, Baby. They are a keeper! Auntie Gaye-Gaye lovingly bestows upon you the permission if you need it. *wink* Pair 'em up with some man-killer pumps and you got a winner.

I have leopard-print sheets, comforter, clothes and three pairs of shoes. I may buy the jeans, for my birthday - deserve something hot, for turning 50

Unfortunately I can't wear dresses
but I have bought a lot of their pants. Good stuff!

Have you seen these? http://www.newport-news.com/shop/pro...tegory_id=3189
Man if I had the money I would be ALL OVER those!
I'm not too keen on wedges - lean more toward pointy/peep toes and stilettos.
