Stupid question. Is my male cat really neutered? I don't know what he looked like in the testicular area before getting him from the Anti-Cruelty Society and they made me wait to pick him up so they could do the surgery. There is a sack type area back there. I'm not sure if one should see nothing after the surgery or not. I know. I sound crazy.

yes you can still see the *bits* more so in cats that was neutered late in life, like my boy he was neutered when i took him in, he was about 3 years old and still has a bit to show down there. yet my other boy who was neutered at 6 months you can hardly see anything.

This guy was around 9 or 10 months ago. I just don't know how big the area should be. I loves to meow all the time and run out into the hall when I go out also.

Ping you can still see his ummm sac where his testicles were. But if you feel them there are not there. (yes I tried this to be sure they were gone)

My neutered boys testicles are about the size of a dime (each).

Mature tom cats are umm...more like quarters (or bigger
). They're usually so prominent that you can see them even when their tails are down.
