My daughter is having a hard time keeping her teeth, with braces, clean. I am wondering if I should lay out the $$$ for a WaterPik.

I have one, I love it.
The roots of my front teeth are being reabsorbed, so I have air packets in my gums.
My waterpik can actually get the air packets clean and save me from abcesses.

Ouch Arlyn!

Should I get the one with the big honkin' water reservoir, or would the cordless model be good?

Yes, ouch, just biding my time, I should be getting to get my whole mouth fixed within a year.

I would go with the big resevoir model myself.
