A couple of months ago I asked everyone for vibes for Bosco, my cousins 12/13 year old short haired lab. Well they worked, my cousin took Bosco to the vet and he got a cortizone shot and it worked well up until today
. Bosco is laying on the floor not moving and sometimes crying, my cousin is trying to get him to the vet but he is big 100+ lbs. She has to wait for her son to come home to help her put him in the car.
Can I please have some vibes for Bosco, I sure would appreciate it and so would my cousin, I told her all about the vibes I got from everyone the last time
.
Thanks!

Not sure other than age and that big dogs like him always have problems with their back legs as they get older, but now he is having a problem with one of his front legs

That sounds like one of my mom's Labs, who is >10, 100+ lbs., and has arthritis.

Has your cousin tried an infrared heat lamp? We had a Boxer who had trouble with his hips/legs as he aged, and the heat lamp, which we used 3x a day for 20 minutes, really seemed to help.

I'll tell my cousin about the lamp, thanks. Do you think she could use a heating pad for now?

It depends on how mobile the dog is, and how much padding is between him and the heating pad. He has to be able to move away from it if it gets too hot. We used a "mud pack", which was heatable in the microwave, for our dog, because it cooled down after 35 -45 minutes, and there was no chance of burns.
