Our kittens are now nearly 7 days old and are doing really well so far.

When Darcy had them, she chose our bedroom as her nest site so I moved her food, litter and scratching post up there for her.

However, it is not that pleasant having her litter next to my bed and I'm finding it hard to sleep with them in the room.

We had planned to have the kittens in the kitchen where her food, litter, etc. usually are. Is it OK to move her nest down there?

I'm worried that she'll just try and move them up to the bedroom again or that at night she'll ignore them as she usually sleeps with us.

Any opinions would be good!

i would personally keep them where you are. with the litter tray if you keep it very clean as you should it shouldnt be a problem. i know kittens can be a bit nosiey but iv never had any problems sleeping in the same room lol. if you do move them make sure its somewhere safe and warm, and if you can confine her so she cant move them around to any unsafe locations.
