Being a Cat is Tiring

This is what I wake up to most mornings. Picture me stretched out behind him (you can see where my head usually is on the pillow). I eased out of bed behind him and grabbed the camera.

OHHHHHHH how sweet is that! Does he always sleep under the covers like a "people"???

Awwwwwwww what a sweet pic of a beautiful boy. My Babygirl use to sleep just like that every night. She would poke her nose under the covers, lifting them as she walked under and then turned around to where her body was under the cover and her head was out ..........

Yes he does. Sometimes he faces me and puts his forehead against my nose making it difficult for me to breathe as he squashes my nose flat.

He only sleeps like that with me - never hubby. At bedtime he's momma's boy.

You're right Fran, he is a "people" - only a cat-lover would understand.

He is such a handsome boy! Who could resist those eyes and all that fluffy lovey-ness!

Alley used to sleep next to me like that but so far Riley either sleeps at the foot of the bed, or in his little cat bed next to my side of the bed.

I think I'm jealous of you...

I know we all love our kitties and everyone's kitty is special in their own way, but I just had to share this because when I open my eyes in the mornings and have this guy all curled up with me, it takes my breath away and it doesn't get "old". I love him so much that only you wonderful cat people would understand the feeling I get to awaken like this.
