I just got a digital camera and I was wondering if you could tell me if I was successful in getting the picture to upload... many thanks.

No picture here. You probably have to resize it.

I still can't figure it out. It keeps saying it's too big, no matter how small I make it. I'll have to wait until my brother is willing to help me.

Yay! And a beauty, too. Worth the wait.

Well, that's strange. It's working on my computer. I had to upload it though, because I couldn't figure out how to make it small enough to fit for the uploading thing on this forum. Maybe I'll figure out how to work it by next Christmas, lol.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I can't even see red Xs!

Jenn - two things to keep in mind. When you resize the picture, the MOST it can be is 400 X 400 pixels (so if it's not square, the longest side can only be 400 pixels), AND the file size itself can't be larger than 33,000 bytes (33KB).

...that means, if it's a jpeg file, it usually has to be saved at a low or medium quality in order to make the size of the file small enough.
