Collected 39 Grand points at the Bangkok Show!

Bulan was 3rd Highest Scoring Cat after a Persian and an Exotic!
Not even 9 months old!

Reminder, you only need 75 points to Grand in CFA ID Asia because our counts are low and seriously, it's NOT easy to grand!

Am I happy? Why, Yes, I AM!!!!

Oh and ignore the humans!

And just to remind you...her daddy is in my siggy and the kitten in my avatar is her many months ago!

25 BUT with only 7-12 Pr in each show in SE Asia, even 4-6 rings may NOT be enough to grand! Unless you show in Hong Kong!

One more show should do it

And I'd love to be a proud owner of one of those rosettes too - did you make them?

I'm praying it to be so...the Manila show should have about 25 Champions and if she does as well there or better, she'll be a 2 show Grand!

I didn't make those rosettes - they were made in Bangkok

BTW in case people are wondering, the reason she has two rosettes in this ring (and in the other 2) is because she got 1 for the finals and the other is for best Shorthair Champion!

I've been at a cat show myself since Friday. Every 2 weeks for us until Spring.

Is that number including opens and grands? My highest premier count was 11 with it usually being around 5.

Let's put it this way shall we....

At the recent KL show, the Class total was 29, of which 6GPs(4SH), 6 Pr (3SH) and 17 Opens.

In Bangkok, Class total was 13, 0 GP, 6 PR (0 SH) and the rest are opens.

In the upcoming Manila Show, we'd be lucky to have 5 in the class!

The average for the Hong Kong Cat Lovers Society shows...(mind you HKCLS holds the biggest shows in CFA outside of the internationals, proven!)

Class total - 74, 17 GPs (6 SH), 26 Pr (9 SH) and 31 opens - and so, if you have the right cat, the place to Grand a cat is Hong Kong! But then HKCLS shows av. about 350-380 cats anyway....

Looks like you have the same amount of Premiers as we average in region 4. No wonder it is taking me forever to Grand Veeshan. We need 75 points to Grand. At our last show we had a total of 9 Premiers and I considered that number high for us. Veeshan came home with 7 more points.

It seems I have miscalculated - Herman just confirmed that Bulan got 41 GC points! Only 34 to go! Pray for me - the Manila show should be just right for her to be a two show Grand!

I know what you mean on point counts in premiership. When showing Spooky, he kept taking a lot of Best/2nd Best Premiers in almost every ring - but the point count was only like 4-5 Premiers!
