Has anyone watched this? Or is watching it? Max and I are addicted! It's very good - very interesting.

What do you guys think of it? I started this thread here because of the obvious feelings there will be about the topic of the show - polygamy, for those who haven't seen it.

I love that show!

I love how they make the show less about polygamy and more about the interactions between the families.

I do have to say I'm addicted as well.

We just love it. We came in halfway through the second show, so it took us a while to work out what was going on, but we never miss it. It's so interesting and convoluted and volatile! It's hard to watch, sometimes, with all the tension going on...

Did you see last nights episode? The whole blood atonement thing is kind of scary.

No I didn't - I don't think we're up to that here yet. We've only just got to the episode where Bill starts getting dizzy because of his Viagra!!!

Typical Australia! Two years behind everywhere else....lol

I thought at one point it was a mini-series and I was so excited when I found out it was a proper series! It's the best one I've watched since Dexter. Did you watch that? That was AWESOME...

Dexter is AMAZING! I love it.

I'm also a huge fan of Weeds.

I'm a huge addict.. I love the show....

I'm sure the whole pologmy thing gets to some people,, but hey to each there own is my opinion..

Crap if I could get out of cleaning and watching my child sometimes, and get rid of my husband for a few nights.. I'd be all for it!!!!

But on the flipside,, a sister wife,, uggggh,, women are soo caddy, and you all know it.. I'd be pretty particular on who she or they were.. LOL...

Just IMO....

I love love LOVE Big Love. Weeds too!!!
They are definitely both controversial in different ways, but that is what makes them so interesting!!! A different perspective on life and all.

I have yet to see any of the second season of Big Love, since I usually wait and watch the DVDs when they come out. *sigh*

I cannot wait though!!!!

I believe in one man/one woman marriage. So I'm not interested in patronizing a show that deals with multiple wives/husbands or whatever.

I saw a couple episodes and was hooked. I've been waiting forever for Season 1 disk 1 to be available on netflix.

never did hear of that show.
but as for polygamy, blah forget it.
I may be getting a bit more, hmm cynic? however spell it. but really i am starting to think marriage is bad. Renting sounds much better(what can i say i am in a bad mood tonight)

Oh honey, I get four discs at a time and it took three months to get them all!!!

Seems to be gaining a lot of popularity!!!

I haven't seen this... actually I haven't even heard of it, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to look into it.

I have no problems with polygamy as long as everyone in the situation is ok with it, do it up... but personally, I don't know... I think it just sounds like too much work! One DH is enough... three of them and I may run away from home!
