Drew Carey To Host Price Is Right

It has been announced that Drew Carey will be the new host of The Price Is Right.

I think Rosie would have been a much better choice!

I would have liked either choice, but I think Drew Carey will do a much better job!!!!
His personality is a lot less controversial and goes with the flow... kinda like Bob Barker!!!

Hopefully, this will work out better than expected. At least Drew is quite humorous, I find Rosie to be an obnoxious loud mouth.

I think that's a brilliant choice! Drew Carey is the perfect replacement. He's witty and incredibly funny (think pre-"the drew carey show", his stand-up comedy act). His improv skills are outstanding. Good choice!

Im sooooooooooo happy it's him and not that loud mouth Rosie.. I can't stand her!

I also think Drew Carey will most likely do a good job as host. I have nothing against Rosie but she has a tendency to be on the controversial side, and The price is right would not a great place to continue her feud with Donald Trump.

soooo umm yeah i'm thinking that show will not last much longer it's just not the same without barker.

Drew is genial, funny, non-controversial and I've never found him to be obnoxious - besides, he's built kind of like a Teddy bear. He's a MUCH better choice.

I feel the same way. But he had to retire sometime.

I actually think Drew Carey will draw in a younger audience back into The Price is Right.

Bob Barker is classic...........but I really think Carey has the personality to completely pull it off and people are going to love him.

Well... if it's what he wants, that's nice, but... daytime TV is such a waste of his talents! It took me awhile to get used to him, but now I'm a huge fan. I want him back in primetime!

I honestly don't care for either Rosie or Drew....but Drew IMO is the lesser of the two evils. Both are MUCH better than Bob Barker....I have my issues with him, too.
