The HR lady from my old company called...and I'm getting the severence pay!!!!!!
I'm sooo happy and sooooo relieved! It should come this Friday. She told me the Directors decided to give it to be because of the confusion/misunderstanding (Which was on more than just my part! It was theirs too!). Either way I am happy and relieved.


Now when I see that money deposited in my account on Friday I'm going to do the real happy dance!

Yay!!!! That's great news!!!
The fact that they are giving it to you even though they don't have to, speaks volumes about them. They sound like an honourable company that sticks to their word! Not many of those around these days. Most would just offer up an apology and something like "there's nothing we can do."
