I may have mentioned this way back when I signed up, but Girlkat was adopted by me when she was about a year and a half old. Her first owner had declawed her

Girlkat is now six years old and she's just as much of a firecracker as she has always been, but in the last week or so I've noticed her limping in the front. I've tried to feel around her front paws but can't find any irregularity (aside from the disfigurement the vet gave her when he took off her toe knuckles). Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with declawed cats as they get older. I know they're prone to arthritis, but I thought this would happen much later in her life. Got any input?

Yes, I know I should take her to the vet. I will see what I can do about that this weekend. It doesn't help that she likes to fire off her anal glands the second she sees her carrier.

All of my cats have been declawed and never had a problem with limping. Check the bottom of her paws to make sure nothing got suck in there, try to feel around and see if you notice her in pain with touching a certain area. Nothing more you can really do except take her to the vet.
