We have a new resident

So the other day me and my mom were sitting on our deck and we seen an all black kittie, we have never seen him before so of course I went up front because I seen him go up our steps, he is so skinny! We took him some wet food, and then left out dry..and put some fresh water out there He is so friendly but he was sooo hungry!

But we have named him onyx, and well he isnt fixed and it isnt hard to miss that on him at all So we are going to have to fatten him up a bit and then we are taking him to go get nuetered! Well I am paying for that and my moms paying for the shots

But he is sleeping right in front of our house (we have some woods there but not much there is a house in front of it though) but he sleeps right behind this one tree, and the neighbor said he was on her porch last night and she didnt care..she thought we added a new kittie to our household And in a way we did, we are feeding him and we brushed him today and he was loving it Now if only hed gain some weight, we are going to have to deworm him...deflea him...and I didnt see no ear mite so thats a plus

We have a feeling that someone dropped him off up here though Some mysterious shoe boxes came one night and were at the top of our alley and a few days later we see a black kittie, hes not all that old either! (there was tons of empty shoe boxes by the way...a good 10-20 of them) But I have noticed that his teeth are a little crooked So we are feeding him kitten food and wet food, and the soft soft treats!

Any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated, he is so friendly and so nice! Especially with his teeth it doesnt bother him at all though, but I was thinking maybe he was thrown out of a moving car Also he has a fear of men, my dad was outside and he didnt come any where near us! He stayed up by my dads truck instead!

That is great that you plan to get him neutered. Do you plan to bring him indoors once he is neutered?

Ya, my mom has to work some "magic" on my dad but we already said once it gets cold that we would...if my dad says no...well we have the basement that he doesnt travel into But we first got to fatten him up so he can get nuetered and go from there It was funny today...Bella who is a big mamas girl found my voice so she went in my moms window and started meowing so hes looking all around lol it was cute...also I am not sure if I mentioned this, but he did let me pick him up (my mom made me ) But I held him for like 2 secs and he wanted down! But we are trying, everyone says im the person to go to to get a kittie at a good weight

Hey there....he looks precious. He doesn't have to be fattened up to be neutered. We've neutered lots of kitties that look like him at the feral cat clinic. If he was less than 2 lbs I would say wait...but he's definately more than 2 lbs.
