I Keep Repeating Myself!

I know I've asked this before, but I can not find the answer! I forgot where it was in these forums, so I'm asking again:

I have my scanner working. I scanned an image. How do I put it in my post? My intent was to put the picture on the web and then link to it from here. How do I do that?

You can post the pictures directly, if they are small enough.

I know . . . but there're a lot of posts to sort through. I guess I need to bite the bullet, huh?

Biting the bullet would be recommended.

Chewing it would be a bad idea.

If the picture is elsewhere on the web, use the
