That's a tough one because I've done that before and rescue said throw it right away. I'm not 100% sure, but I think when you leave it out it loses it's freshness and it's potency and doesn't work as well as it should. I don't think it will harm her, but I'm truely not sure - so I would ask your vet unless someone here can answer the question. I'd be anxious to see why you can't leave it out as well.

No. It can(in theory) make them sick. And it is essentially "spoiled". The vet told me it's like eating raw meat that sat out overnight.

Clavamox the antibiotic? I didn't know it had to be kept in the fridge..... the pill form?

No...the liquid.
I was under the impression that if it wasn't discolored, it was OK. It should be a very pale yellow color...very pale. If it's darker yellow or brownish-yellow it's definitely bad.

The marvistavet site says it should be OK.
I guess I would ask the vet.

The oral suspension should be refrigerated, though if it is mistakenly left out of the refrigerator, this is not a problem. The oral suspension should be discarded after 2 weeks.

Shewww, I am using the pills and thought they had to be refrigerated.
